The big day’s events include:
- 10 a.m. -- Ribbon Cutting & Community Photo (be a part of history!)
- 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. -- Live music, entertainment, tours & festivities
Things to Do: First of all, you can visit the Friends of the Folsom Powerhouse table located near the intersection of Riley and Sutter Street. Learn about the Folsom Powerhouse and help support our efforts to preserve this vital part of Folsom’s history.
All the Historic District shops, galleries and restaurants will be open with many offering special discounts. The first 2,000 attendees will receive a commemorative chocolate coin created for this event by Snooks Chocolate Factory.
Riley Street Closed for Event: Riley Street from Natoma to Leidesdorff will be closed from approximately 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 7 to ensure pedestrian safety for those attending the Sutter Street Celebration. Drivers are encouraged to take alternate routes such as Folsom Lake Crossing and Lake Natoma Crossing.
